Before becoming a psychologist, Heather spent 20 years working in the oil and gas industry, giving her unique insight into the pressures of professional life, career transitions, and balancing work and family responsibilities. Her approach is collaborative, grounded, and evidence-based, primarily drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify their values, develop mindfulness skills, and move toward meaningful, value-driven change.

His approach is compassionate, grounded, and practical — helping clients understand emotional patterns, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. As a parent of three, Khaled understands the complexity of family life and the importance of communication, emotional regulation, and connection in relationships. He creates a calm and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Khaled integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Transactional Analysis (TA) in his work with individuals, and uses the Gottman Method and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with couples to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and restore emotional connection.

Shannon is a child and parent psychologist at Ten Psychology who works with families to support emotional regulation, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and perfectionism. Her approach is warm, creative, and rooted in collaboration — helping each child and parent understand their experiences, strengthen resilience, and build a sense of balance that lasts. Parents are active partners in Shannon’s work. Through parent counselling and coaching, she helps families navigate ADHD-related challenges, support children with autism (ASD), manage behaviour and emotional outbursts, and create calmer home environments. Shannon’s sessions are designed to strengthen family connection and help children and parents move forward — together.
